Natalie Chigozie, MSW, LCSW, at IOP Mental Health in Cary, North Carolina, has worked in the mental health field for nearly two decades. She has extensive experience helping individuals, couples, families, and groups heal from many issues, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorder, substance abuse, and sexual trauma.

As a licensed clinical social worker, Natalie is skilled in various behavioral and psychodynamic therapies. She also incorporates the senses into healing and recovery, using art and music therapy to create unique opportunities for learning, recovery, and healing beyond psychotherapy.

Natalie graduated with a bachelor’s degree in social work from Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina, then received a master’s degree in social work from East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. 

She worked as a therapist in two partial hospitalization programs and as a psychotherapist at several private clinics, including serving as the director of the intensive outpatient program at Cary Behavioral Health and IOP Mental Health.

Natalie has supported mental health in her community for more than 20 years. She looks forward to continuing her work helping adults in the Raleigh-Cary metropolitan area needing intensive outpatient mental health care.
