Dr. Jessica Wilson

Dr. Jessica Wilson is a psychologist with over 10 years of experience providing individual, group and family therapy. She completed her Master’s and Doctoral degrees at University of North Carolina Greensboro. She joins the team at Cary Behavioral Health after working in NYC for several years at the Columbia Day Treatment Program providing intensive group and individual psychotherapy treatment for adults.

Jessica sees a wide variety of clients in her practice, including individuals struggling with symptoms of depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and substance use disorders. She also works with survivors of trauma, including physical and sexual abuse, neglect and assault. Jessica is primarily a cognitive behavioral therapist, and has additional expertise in the use of acceptance-based treatments such as DBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. In the treatment of trauma, she has completed training in Cognitive Processing Therapy and EMDR, and regularly incorporates these modalities in treatment. She believes that effective treatment begins with a collaborative relationship with clients.
